Why Instrumentation and Process Control?

With the current trend in technology, most of the manufacturing plants are now fully utilizing the concept of automation; that is operating the various stages of their processes with very minimal human intervention. This is made possible by utilizing the concept in controlling such process, and thus, making plant automation a reality.

View of the above condition, automation could only be sustained if instrumentation systems are working properly, and this could also be made possible if all instruments in a system are also working properly. Thus, proper instrument maintenance is of paramount importance which could only be carried out by a competent and a qualified Instrument Technicians.

Instrumentation Training

An instrument technician must be equipped with fundamentals, principles and techniques to be able to troubleshoot, maintain, operate and install process instruments and instrumentation systems. I&E develops students with its design curriculum, an instrument technician that is competent to do most of process control and instrumentation works. The training facility that I&E has, covers all instrumentation activities from calibration, troubleshooting, simulation, loop checking, proving, overhauling, installation, commissioning and instrumentation design consideration.

I&E offers courses for individuals who wish to enhance their skills or to have a complete knowledge in instrumentation and process control.
I&E offers courses for High school graduates and college undergrads in a special curriculum that would take 16 months for students to become certified Instrument Technicians.

Fast Track Courses is design for College Graduates, who wish to enhance their skills or change their careers as Instrument Technicians in a short period of 6months.
